The Fire House Museum is housed within a historic fire house that has been standing since 1906. Another interesting historic site, is the Esmeralda County Courthouse, which has been standing since 1907. The County Courthouse still houses several historic jails. The Goldfield Historic District is home to several historic structures, including the Goldfield Hotel and Goldfield High School. The Goldfield Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 14, 1982.
