The Historic Former Whiteface Motel has been standing in the county since 1926 and was named a Registered Landmark in 1969. The Former Whiteface Motel was the first brick structure erected in the area and was built by realtor William E. Flenniken. Other interesting landmarks in the area include the Slaughter Ranch Headquarters and the Smith Office. Several museums can also be found in the area.
